Our Mission
MCES provides high-quality Chinese language education and cultural programs for students across Melbourne. We foster understanding of Chinese language, culture, and heritage while supporting academic achievement and personal growth. We are committed to helping every child feel confident, capable, and proud of their cultural identity.
Our Founder & Legacy
MCES was founded in 1975 by Easter Wu, our founding Principal and my grandmother, and her husband, 吴光华. Their vision was simple yet powerful: to provide Chinese language education to the broader Melbourne community and help children feel proud of their cultural roots. Their dedication continues to guide everything we do today.
